Privacy policy

Last updated 26 October 2026

This policy explains what OpenPATH Board (“the board”) keeps when you use it in ChatGPT, and why. The board is operated by Richard Comeau (OpenPATH). Contact: richardcomeau1975@gmail.com.

What the board keeps

The board does not use advertising, analytics, tracking cookies or profiling, and does not sell or share your information.

How it is used

Only to show your boards back to you and to the ChatGPT tutor in your conversations, so the lesson can continue where you left off.

Where it is kept

Boards are stored with the board's hosting on ChatGPT Sites, provided by OpenAI. Your conversations with ChatGPT are covered by OpenAI's own privacy policy.

Other services the page uses

When a board shows mathematics, the page loads a math editor (MathLive) from the jsDelivr network; some pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Those services receive the usual technical details of a web request, such as your IP address. They receive nothing from your boards.

How long it is kept, and deleting it

Boards are kept until you ask for them to be deleted. To delete your boards or ask what is stored, email richardcomeau1975@gmail.com. Requests are answered within 30 days.

Students

The board is made for secondary and university students. It is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect information from them. A parent, guardian or school can ask for a student's boards to be deleted at richardcomeau1975@gmail.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.
